GeoMapa Rural

The Banco do Brasil offers a tool to support rural producers: the "GeoMapa Rural" application for use on smartphones and tablets. This is an innovative solution for capturing the coordinates (latitude and longitude) of rural property areas, providing the necessary information for contracting financing at BB, contributing to faster and more efficient credit approval.

The application allows users to save data for testing or area validation without the need for authentication. Users can log in both as individuals and as legal entities to submit information.

There are two operational modes available: Automatic Capture - where the user outlines the area and every 10 seconds, the device's internal GPS marks a point; and Manual Capture - by marking points on-site using the GPS function or with assistance from a satellite map. The latter option only works when there is a network connection and mobile data function enabled on the device.

Furthermore, the webpage "www.bb.com.br/agronegocios" offers functionalities for viewing and printing the transmitted polygon to BB with its respective coordinates. On this page, users can also upload .gpx, .kml, and shapefile files in .zip format.
